Orthopedic Injury Work/Cross Friction Therapy:
Orthopedic Injury Work uses a combination of assessment, Cross Friction Therapy and exercise that allows the body to break down and properly reform adhesive scar tissue that forms in tendons, ligaments and joints after an injury. For more information on Cross Friction Therapy go here.
Injury Evaluation and Assessment
This is a half hour session. Time is spent taking a thorough history about the injury and assessment tests are conducted allowing the therapist to determine specific areas, tendons or ligaments needing treatment. Onsite Injury Assessment and Treatment Sessions are also available for sport teams. Call to make arrangements for your team today!Massage for people with Cancer or in Remission
Special attention and care to the type of cancer, type of treatment received, surgical procedures and associated side effects such as pain, nausea and fatigue are taken into consideration when treating clients with a history of cancer. A typical session for the cancer patient includes taking a detailed history of their condition, treatments, surgeries, side effects, contraindications, and current state of the cancer, to determine the best course of therapy. Typically this form of therapy is light to medium in pressure, slow moving techniques, with no jostling or rocking, to help alleviate symptoms such as pain, fatigue and nausea and to prevent inflammation, edema and lymphodema that may be exacerbated by typical deep massage techniques.
Onsite Oncology Massage During Chemo Treatments is also available. Speak to your nurse or their supervisor to request this service and allow it to be available to all patients! Give them our contact info and have them call us to make arrangements.
Muscular Therapy/Therapeutic Relaxation Massage:
Muscular Therapy is a unique combination of treatment, exercise, and client education designed to reduce or eliminate chronic muscle tension and promote health. The treatment incorporates a series of specialized massage techniques relating to each muscle group, applied with varying rhythms, speeds, and pressures.Deep Tissue Massage, Neuromuscular Technique and Trigger Point Release:
Assists with the release of trigger points (extremely tight, sensitive, and localized areas of muscle tissue that refers pain sensations to other parts of the body that can restrict range of motion; they occur most frequently in the upper back and neck) by applying pressure to these points leading to immediate release of tension and improved muscular functioning and postural balance.Myofascial Release:
Myofascial release involves sustained pressure and manual contact to evaluate and treat soft-tissue restriction and to eliminate pain and restore motion, balance, and posture.Sports Massage:
Sports massage uses a combination of techniques such as jostling, rocking and rolling, compressions, and a series of stretching to increase your range of motion, increase flexibility, increase recovery of sore muscles and prevent injuries.Pregnancy Massage:
Great for the mom-to-be or new mom. Reduces stress and tension of the neck, shoulders, low back and hip areas.Reiki:

Each person will receive a 30, 60, or 90 minute massage in the comfort of your own personal space. Must supply ample space (approximately 8'x6') for table and movement around table. This is a great way to spend an afternoon of relaxation and stress reduction.Self-Care Education and Tools
Need some tips on how to reduce low back pain or how to reduce tension in your muscles between sessions? Ask your therapist! We have a number of self-care tools and techniques that can help reduces stress and tension.
- Pinky Ball in Sleeve: Great for upper, mid, and lower back tension!
- Golf Ball in Sleeve: Great for more specific work- great for those tired feet!
- Warm/Cold Pack: This warm/cold pack is great to relieve muscle tension-just put it in the freezer or in the microwave!
Home Visits
For individuals who cannot make it to the office, a home visit may be the answer. Ample space (approximately 8'x6' area) is required. Space should also be quiet, free of pets and children when possible.
